9/20 at 2:00pm in NYC: Dragon’s Egg Presents!

Join us at University Settlement in NYC to see a host of choreographers in a fundraiser for The Dragon’s Egg Studio in Ledyard, CT, which unfortunately suffered a fire in 2024. ACD is an invited guest, and will feature the lovely Lila Kushner in a solo  inspired by the delicate nature of the human spirit.

Back in 2013, ACD was chosen for a residency in the woods at the incredible Dragon’s Egg Studio. That day was so memorable, where we created three new pieces, as well as created a dance film short, Woodland Air. The space was an artist’s dream, and Marya Ursin, Artistic Director, poured her time, resources, and love into the geometrically shaped, wooden wonder for countless years, serving so many talented artists throughout time, as well as nurturing her own company, Mystic Paper Beasts. The good news — the rebuilding is underway!
